MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES: THE FOUNDATION PERFORMS OR SPONSORS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO DEVELOP ENHANCEMENTS FOR THE OPC STANDARD INTERFACE. THE FOUNDATION COORDINATES RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN AS COOPERATIVE AND PUBLICATION OF INTERFACE SPECIFICATIONS, DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINEER AND CONFORMANCE TESTING AND OTHER SERVICES AND TOOLS FOR THE STANDARD INTERFACE
EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ACTIVITIES: THE FOUNDATION FACILITATES THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AMONG INTERESTED PARTIES TO ENHANCE THE FURTHER COLABORATION OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE OPC INTERFACES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES TRAINING SEMINARS FOR MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL AS FACILITATING DEMONSTRATIONS AT TRADE SHOWS OF USES OF THE STANDARDS.
