BCAP'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT, ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION TO THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO ARE LIVING WITH OR AFFECTED BY HIV, AND TO SERVE AS AN OUTREACH AND INFORMATION CENTER TO PREVENT THE FURTHER TRANSMISSION OF HIV.

HIV CARE SERVICES PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AND THEIR FAMILIES. SERVICES HELP PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV MAINTAIN/IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH THROUGH ACCESS TO SPECIALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT; MEDICAL CARE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE; FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR HOUSING, UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, ORAL HEALTHCARE; FOOD PANTRY; AND OTHER BASIC NEEDS ASSISTANCE THAT SUPPORT ENGAGEMENT IN CARE, TREATMENT, AND INDIVIDUAL WELLNESS WITH A GOAL OF VIRAL SUPPRESSION.


PREVENTION SERVICES PROVIDE INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND HARM REDUCTION SUPPLIES TO PRIORITY POPULATIONS AND THE PUBLIC TO REDUCE THE TRANSMISSION OF HIV AND HCV. SERVICES INCLUDE HIV AND HCV TESTING; PEP AND PREP EDUCATION/NAVIGATION/LINKAGE TO CARE; SYRINGE ACCESS, INCLUDING A FOOD PANTRY, OVERDOSE PREVENTION, AND STREET OUTREACH; HARM REDUCTION COUNSELING AND SUPPLIES DISTRIBUTION; EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS; A GROUP-LEVEL PREVENTION PROGRAM FOR MSM; AND OUTREACH AT COMMMUNITY EVENTS AND VIA SOCIAL MEDIA.
