IN 2022, DURANGO EDUCATION FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO CONCENTRATE ON GIVING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO DURANGO SCHOOL DISTRICT 9-R ("9-R")CLASSROOMS AND TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WHICH SERVE 9-R STUDENTS. ALL SCHOOLS IN THE DISTRICT BENEFITTED FROM DEF EFFORTS.DEF FUNDED GRANTS TO TEACHERS TO SUPPORT A RANGE OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGY NEEDS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. GRANTS FUNDED SUCH NEEDS AS: PILOT PROGRAMS, INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE EDUCATION, MUSIC EDUCATION, CAREER-TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND MORE. DEF GRANTS AFFECTED THE EDUCATION OF AT LEAST 85% OF THE STUDENTS IN THE DISTRICT. 13 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE ADMINISTERED.
