THE OREGON SKATING COUNCIL ACTS AS A FORUM FOR SHARING INFORMATION AND CONCERNS OF ITS MEMBER CLUBS, ALL OF WHOM EXIST TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF AMATEUR FIGURE SKATING AND TO ENCOURAGE AND CULTIVATE A SPIRIT OF FRATERNAL FEELING AMONG AMATEUR FIGURE SKATERS. THE COUNCIL COOPERATES IN THE PRODUCE OF SEMINARS, TRAINING FOR OFFICIALS AND MEMBER CLUBS AND COUNCIL OFFICERS, TEST SESSIONS, AMATEUR COMPETITIONS, AND OTHER EVENTS THAT SUPPORT FIGURE SKATING.
