OKLAHOMA ASSOCIATION OF NURSE ANESTHETISTS (OANA) PROMOTES CONTINUAL, HIGH QUALITY CARE BY FACILITATING EFFECTIVE COOPERATION BETWEEN NURSE ANESTHETISTS, ANESTHESIOLOGISTS, AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE HEALTH CARE PROFESSION. OANA ALSO PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH DIRECTION PERTAINING TO GOVERNMENTAL POLICY AND JUDICIAL DECISIONS OF IMPORTANCE TO ANESTHESIA. OANAS MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITY IS THE HOSTING OF TWO EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES PROMOTING THE PRACTICE OF NURSE ANESTHESIA.
