THE ROTARY CLUB'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO BE INVOLVED IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND DO PROJECTS THAT PROMOTE GOODWILL AND PROVIDE FOR HUMANITARIAN NEEDS LOCALLY. ALSO, TO SUPPORT THE ROTARY INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS THROUGH THE ROTARY FOUNDATION. THIS IS DONE PRIMARILY THROUGH VARIOUS CONTRIBUTIONS AND FUND RAISING ACTIVIITIES OF THE CLUB AND THE CLUB MEMBERS. A NUMBER OF PROJECTS ARE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING PROVIDING BOOKS TO CHILDREN IN GARLAND COUNTY IN CONJUNCTION WITH GARLAND COUNTY IMAGINATION LIBRARY, SUPPORT OF YOUTH THROUGH THE LOCAL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, ERADICATION OF POLIO THROUGH MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS TO ROTARY. THE CLUB ALSO SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS BY PARTNERING WITH OTHER NONPROFITS THAT HAVE THE PRIMARY MISSION OF ALLVIATING HUNGER, PROVIDING SYSTEMS THAT PROVIDE CLEAN WATER FOR DRINKING AND CONSTRUCTING HOUSING FOR THOSE COMMUNITIES AND CHILDREN THAT DON'T HAVE THOSE BASIC NECESSITIES.
