MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES MARCH 8, 2022- ANNUAL MEETING FOR MEMBERS OF RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY WINEGROWERS AT VINTNERS INN IN SANTA ROSA. THE ANNUAL REPORT WAS DISCUSSED BY THE BOARD PRESIDENT (CLARK LYSTRA), FINANCIALS OVERVIEW DISCUSSED BY TREASURER (MICHELLE MUTH AUSBURN), AND PLANS FOR 2022 WERE DISCUSSED BY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (JESSLYN JACKSON). TURRENTINE BROKERAGE WAS INVITED TO GIVE AN OVERVIEW OF THE GENERAL STATE OF THE GRAPE MARKETPLACE. A LUNCH WAS PROVIDED TO MEMBERS AT NO COST TO THEM. A TOTAL OF 96 MEMBERS RSVPD.MAY 2022 AND AUGUST 2022- VINEYARD WALK SERIES THE VINEYARD WALK SERIES IS A NETWORKING EVENT OPEN TO BOTH GROWER AND WINERY MEMBERS OF RRVW. THE FORMAT INVOLVES A HOST LOCATION TO PROVIDE A WALK-THROUGH OF THEIR PROPERTY AND AN OVERVIEW OF THE PROPERTYS HISTORY. THE HOST LOCATION ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PLANTINGS. THE VINEYARD WALK IS FOLLOWED BY A SMALL HAPPY HOUR WHERE MEMBERS BRING A BOTTLE OF THEIR OWN WINE TO SHARE. OMAY 18, 2022-BACIGALUPI VINEYARDS (46 MEMBERS RSVPD)OAUGUST 17, 2022-LIMERICK LANE CELLARS (29 MEMBERS RSVPD)JUNE 2022-AMERICAN AGCREDIT SIGN REPLACEMENT PROGRAMFOR THE MONTH OF JUNE, AMERICAN AGCREDIT SPONSORED THE RRVW VINEYARD SIGN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, WHICH ALLOWED MEMBERS TO PURCHASE NEW VINEYARDS SIGNS FOR THEIR PROPERTY AT 50% OF THE ACTUAL COST OF PRODUCTION. OVER 40 MEMBERS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS SPECIAL OFFERING. RRVW ALSO INTRODUCED NEW NEIGHBORHOOD SIGNS THAT CAN BE ATTACHED TO EXISTING VINEYARD SIGNS. WE HOSTED A PICK-UP PARTY FOR THE NEW SIGNS WITH MEMBERS IN OCTOBER 2022 AT THE AMERICAN AGCREDIT OFFICES ON AVIATION BLVD. IN SANTA ROSA. AUGUST 6, 2022-RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PAULE DINNERRUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY WINEGROWERS MARKED THE START OF HARVEST 2022 WITH OUR SIGNATURE RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PAULE DINNER HELD A MONTH EARLIER THAN PREVIOUS YEARS ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 6 AT LA CREMA ESTATE AT SARALEES VINEYARD IN RICHARDS GROVE. THE ANNUAL PAULE FEATURED 26 OF OUR MEMBER WINERIES POURING WORLD-CLASS PINOT NOIR, CHARDONNAY, SYRAH, ZINFANDEL AND SAUVIGNON BLANC. OUR CULINARY PARTNERS FOR 2022 WERE CHEF CRISTA LUEDTKE OF BOON EAT+ DRINK, CHEF TRACY SHEPOS CENAMI OF LA CREMA ESTATE, AND CHEF MARK STARK OF STARK REALITY RESTAURANTS . ALL THREE JOINED TOGETHER TO CRAFT AN AMAZING FAMILY-STYLE MEAL. WE WERE EXCITED TO INCLUDE SEVERAL LOCAL VENDORS AS WELL SUCH AS JOURNEYMAN MEAT CO., WOLF COFFEE, VOLO CHOCOLATE AND GROSSMANS NOSHERY & BAR. GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE INCLUDED OVER 10 BAY AREA MEDIA, ONE OF WHICH WAS LAURIE JO MILLER FARR FROM HAUTE LIVING, WHO RRVW AND MEMBER WINERIES HOSTED IN THE AREA FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS PRIOR TO THE PAULE. THIS ALLOWED FOR ADDITIONAL TASTING OPPORTUNITIES/MEDIA COVERAGE FOR PARTICIPATING WINERIES. OVER 175 SEATS WERE SOLD TO CONSUMERS WITH AN AVERAGE TICKET PRICE OF $235. THERE WERE OVER 258 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. OCTOBER 20, 2022-MEMBER BBQ AT BALLETTO VINEYARDS-OUR ANNUAL MEMBER BBQ IN OCTOBER, TIMED APPROPRIATELY AS AN END OF HARVEST CELEBRATION, SAW OUR LARGEST TURNOUT OF MEMBERS WITH OVER 105 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. MEMBERS ENJOYED TRADITIONAL CALIFORNIA TRI-TIP AND OTHER DELECTABLE SIDES PREPARED BY MASTER BOARD MEMBERS. RRVW COLLECTED NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS FOR THE REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK. DECEMBER 12, 2022-ANNUAL MEETING (RECAP OF 2022 PROGRAMMING AND 2023 PLANS)IN AN EFFORT TO SHARE DETAILS ABOUT OUR 2023 CALENDAR OF MARKETING EFFORTS AND EVENTS WITH OUR MEMBERS PRIOR TO THE END OF THE YEAR, RRVW DECIDED TO HOST OUR ANNUAL MEETING MEMBER PRESENTATION AS PART OF OUR HOLIDAY PARTY IN DECEMBER. THE EVENT WAS HOSTED AT PARADISE RIDGE WHERE CLARK LYSTRA RECAPPED 2022 PROGRAMMING, JAKE MARTINI PROVIDED SOME INSIGHTS INTO OUR CURRENT FINANCIALS, AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JESSLYN JACKSON LED THE GROUP THROUGH PLANS FOR 2022. THESE ASSETS WERE SHARED AT A 'WELCOME TO OUR NEIGHBORHOODS' QUARTERLY MEMBER EVENT ON APRIL 13 AT RODNEY STRONG VINEYARDS. THE TOOLKIT INCLUDES AN UPDATED RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY MAP, A NEW RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY POWERPOINT PRESENTATION AND PDF DECK, AND PREVIOUS PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL SUCH AS THE RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY NEIGHBORHOODS VIDEO CREATED BY WILDLY SIMPLE IN 2019. RRVW SHARED A LINK TO THE ASSETS FOR OUR MEMBERS USE IN THEIR OWN LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETING EFFORTS.
