THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY WAS FORMED IN 1984 BY A GROUP OF CONCERNED CITIZENS WHO CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF FAMILIES OF PEACE OFFICERS AND FIREFIGHTERS KILLED AS A RESULT OF AND WHILE IN THE LINE OF DUTY IN CONTRA COSTA COUNTY.

PAYMENTS TO POLICE AND FIREFIGHTERS-----------------------------------THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND PAYMENTS TO THOSE POLICE OFFICERS AND FIREFIGHTERS WHO LOSE THEIR LIVES IN THE LINE OF DUTY. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2021, THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY REMITTED $9,355 AS EDUCATIONAL AND FAMILY SUPPORT BENEFITS FOR ELIGIBLE CHILDREN OF PREVIOUSLY DECEASED PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS.


ANNUAL DINNER AND BARBECUE (AND CRAB FEED)------------------------------------------IN AN ORDINARY YEAR (ONE WHICH HAS NOT BEEN IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC), THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY HOSTS TWO MEMBER-SUPPORTED ACTIVITIES AND USES THESE EVENTS TO EDUCATE MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF ITS EXEMPT-PURPOSE ACTIVITIES.
