WORK FORCE DEVELOPMENT (WFD)WFD DIVISION HAS ASSISTED SEVERAL THOUSANDS OF PARTICIPANTS WITH OVERCOMING BARRIERS TO SELF SUFFICIENCY AS THEY TRANSITIONED BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY AFTER INCARCERATION (RE ENTRY SERVICES), AND PROVIDE COMPETENCY BASED ON VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO PREPARE PARTICIPANTS FOR ENTRY INTO THE WORKFORCE. (PATHWAY) ALL PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ALSO RECEIVED COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT AND JOB READINESS/PLACEMENT SERVICES TO ENHANCE THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.


YOUTH AND FAMILIESYOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES DIVISION PROVIDES SOUTH FLORIDA YOUTH WITH ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL ENRICHMENT: LIFE SKILLS, MENTORING, ACADEMIC SUPPORT THROUGH SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, YOUTH LEADERSHIP, SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, EVIDENCE BASED CLASSROOM EDUCATION AND EFFECTIVE CASE MANAGEMENT. OICSFL HAS OPERATED PROGRAMS IN OVER 75 SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY BASED SITES IN BROWARD AND MIAMI DADE COUNTIES SERVING OVER 8,000 YOUTHS.
