ENSURE SUSTAINABILITY AND EXCELLENCE IN THE GLOBAL YACHTING INDUSTRY. THE ISS MANDATE INCLUDES FOUR SPECIFIC AREAS OF FOCUS: INDUSTRY RECOGNITION THROUGH AWARDS THAT FOSTER BEST BUSINESS PRACTICES, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, MEMBERSHIP, NETWORKING EVENTS

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION RETURNED TO A FULL-SIZE AWARDS GALA WHERE RECOGNITION WAS GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2023. BETWEEN 300 AND 350 ATTENDED THE GALA, WHICH IS HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FT LAUDERDALE INTL BOAT SHOW (FLIBS). THE DESIGN AWARDS ARE GIVEN IN TEN YACHT CATEGORIES, WITH FIVE AWARDS OF DISTINCTION. THIS RECOGNITION IS WIDELY RECOGNIZED AS THE ONE AWARD PROGRAM THAT MATTERS MOST TO OWNERS, BUILDERS & DESIGNERS SINCE THEIR SELECTION IS BASED ON UNBIASED INDUSTRY INPUT AND THE FINALISTS ARE CHOSEN BY A GROUP OF THE INDUSTRYS MOST PROLIFIC DESIGNERS AND BUILDERS.


MIXERS: THE MONACO MIXER IS A NETWORKING EVENT IN THE MEDITERRANEAN FOR MEMBERS AND COLLEAGUES LIVING AND WORKING ON THAT SIDE OF THE WORLD WHO DO NOT OFTEN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND FLIBS OR OTHER EVENTS. IT ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO RECOGNIZE SPONSORS IN THEIR AREAS OF EXPERTISE. THE PALM BEACH MIXER IS ALSO A NETWORKING EVENT AVAILABLE TO INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS VISITING THE BOAT SHOW. IT GIVES RECOGNITION TO OUR SPONSORS IN THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE, WHICH HELPS BUSINESS GROWTH IN THE YACHTING INDUSTRY.


FLIBS ANNUAL MEMBERS BREAKFAST AND SEMINAR HELD DURING THE FT LAUDERDALE INTL BOAT SHOW (FLIBS). THE EVENT INCLUDES A REVIEW OF THE YEAR, AND AN EDUCATIONAL TOPIC CONCERNING THE YACHTING INDUSTRY. IT SHOWCASES THE AREA OF EXPERTISE OF THE ISS, AND CONTRIBUTES TO THE GROWTH OF BUSINESSES IN THE YACTHING INDUSTRY.
