THE GEORGIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS THE UNIFIED VOICE OF THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, AGGRESSIVELY ADVOCATING THE BUSINESS VIEWPOINT IN THE SHAPING OF THE PUBLIC POLICY, ENCOURAGING ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ENSURING THE STATE'S FUTURE AS ECONOMICALLY PROSPEROUS, EDUCATIONALLY COMPETITIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE

THE GEORGIA CHAMBER WORKS TO EXPAND GEORGIA'S GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS TO ATTRACT NEW INVESTMENT AND CREATE OPPORTUNITY AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL GEORGIANS. IN 2021, THE GEORGIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTINUED ITS MISSION TO SUPPORT TO PROVIDE COORDINATED LEADERSHIP TO PROTECT FREE ENTERPRISE, ENGAGE MEMBERS, CAPITALIZE ON EMERGING TRENDS, AND MITIGATE RISK TO GEORGIA BUSINESSES. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE IN ADDITION TO THE ONGOING EFFORTS TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES AS THEY EMERGE FROM THE SHADOW OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GEORGIA CHAMBER'S 2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT TO PASS A RETRACTION OF GEORGIA'S OUTDATED CITIZENS' ARREST LAWS, CONTINUED LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY COVID-19 RELATED PROTECTIONS FOR BUSINESSES, THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A PARTNERSHIP TO OFFER RETIREMENT PLANNING TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES, THE RETURN TO IN PERSON EVENTS WHICH INCLUDED THE EXPANSION OF THE GEORGIA CHAMBER'S RURAL PROSPERITY SUMMIT INTO A THREE DAY PROGRAM WITH A NATIONAL FOCUS, AND CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT WITH GEORGIA CHAMBER MEMBERS ACROSS THE STATE OF GEORGIA.THE GEORGIA CHAMBER'S 2021 MEDIA OUTREACH AND SOCIAL MEDIA EFFORTS GARNERED 14 BILLION IMPRESSIONS WORLDWIDE.
