("THE FOUNDATION") WAS INCORPORATED IN 1955 , AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING THE CHARITABLE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL, INC. ("JCI"). JCI IS A FEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS WITH MEMBERS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.

THE FOUNDATION GENERATES INTEREST INCOME WHICH, THROUGH A GRANT TO JCI, SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF JCI. THIS ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO CONDUCT ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS WHICH PROVIDE FUNDAMENTAL ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITIES WORLDWIDE WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY DEVELOPING TOMORROW'S LEADERS.
