CJFS ENHANCES QUALITY OF LIFE AND STRENGTHENS INDEPENDENCE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, WITH A PRIMARY FOCUS ON OLDER ADULTS, BY PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITH JEWISH VALUES.

COMPREHENSIVE SENIOR SERVICES AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE - PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TARGETING 60+ AND/OR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN MAINTAINING INDEPENDENT DIGNIFIED LIFESTYLES. SERVICES INCLUDE COMPREHENSIVE CARE MANAGEMENT, IN-HOME PERSONAL CARE, ESCORTED TRANSPORTATION,RESPITE CARE AND ACCESS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES FOR CRISIS AND URGENT BASIC NEEDS, RESPITE CARE AND JEWISH COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS.


COUNSELING - AFFORDABLE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING IS AVAILABLE TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES OF ALL AGES. A CAREGIVER SUPPORT/EDUCATION GROUP IS OFFERED MONTHLY. ADDITIONAL EDUCATION/SUPPORT GROUPS ARE AVAILABLE BASED ON COMMUNITY NEED.


BUZ-A-BUS - PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION FOR INDIVIDUALS OVER AGE 60 AND THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED. THE SERVICE IS DESIGNED TO HELP INDIVIDUALS MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE. THE BUZ-A-BUS IS A 14 PASSENGER VAN EQUIPPED WITH ONE WHEELCHAIR LIFT. FUNDS PAY FOR FUEL, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE.


OUTREACH/VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES - VOLUNTEERS OF ALL AGES ARE USED FOR BOTH DIRECT SERVICE TO CLIENTS AND AGENCY ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS. OUTREACH PROGRAMS INCLUDE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES AND PROGRAMMING FOR SENIORS LIVING IN RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES.
