TO ENHANCE SENIOR LIVING FOR PEOPLE AGE 50 AND ABOVE BY PROVIDING MEALS, PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION AND GOOD HEALTH.

MEAL SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY- PROVIDE FRESH MEALS FOR WALK-IN (CONGREGATE) CLIENTS AND DELIVERY TO HOME BOUND CLIENTS IN THE FRANKLIN COUNTY, KENTUCKY AREA. IN AUGUST 2022, THE CENTER OPENED UP COMPLETELY TO THE PUBLIC AFTER COVID. THERE WERE 1,207 MEALS SERVED TO 41 DRIVE-UP CLIENTS. THERE WERE 9,419 MEALS SERVED TO 276 CONGREGATE MEMBERS. IN JULY 2022, SOME OF THESE CONGREGATE MEMBERS WERE STILL SERVED AT THEIR HOMES. 33,762 MEALS WERE HOME DELIVERED TO 221 MEMBERS.
THE CENTER OPENED UP TO THE PUBLIC IN AUGUST 2022 AFTER COVID. PROVIDED ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY AS SHOWN BELOW: 850 UNITS OF EDUCATION TO 246 PEOPLE 3,238 UNITS OF HEALTH PROMOTION TO 321 PEOPLE 3,626 UNITS OF INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE TO 505 PEOPLE 3,159 UNITS OF OUTREACH TO 331 PEOPLE 9,075 UNITS OF RECREATION TO 477 PEOPLE 3,088 UNITS OF TRANSPORTATION TO 36 PEOPLE.
PUBLISH 12 ISSUES OF THE GRAPEVINE NEWSLETTER FOR MEMBERS THAT SHOW ALL OF THE CENTER ACTIVITIES, AND MEALS FOR THE MONTHS. IT ALSO HAS PICTURES AND ARTICLES THAT WOULD INTEREST THE MEMBERSHIP.
