THE COALITION OF ATTAINABLE HOUSING PROVIDERS OF FLORIDA, INC. (CAHP) MEMBERSHIP CALLS AND MEETINGS ARE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FLORIDA HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION (FHFC) BOARD MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS. CAHP MEMBERS VOTE ON CONSENSUS ITEMS AND PROVIDE FEEDBACK TO HELP STREAMLINE THE APPLICATION PROCESS AND PROVIDE MORE STABILITY IN THE FUNDING PROCESS. AN ADVOCATE IN TALLAHASSEE ON BEHALF OF THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING INDUSTRY IS PROVIDED AND MEMBERS RECEIVE LEGISLATIVE AND INDUSTRY UPDATES AT CAHP MEETINGS. REGULAR UPDATES ON FEDERAL LEGISLATION AND NATIONAL ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE INDUSTRY ARE PROVIDED AND OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN CAHP COMMITTEES THAT BUILD CONSENSUS AND PROVIDE COLLECTIVE FEEDBACK TO THE FHFC TO IMPROVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAMS AND POLICIES ARE PROVIDED.
