FEMF IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING PUBLIC HEALTH THROUGH THE ADVANCEMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE, DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY CARE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS. OUR FOCUS IS ON PROVIDING CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WHICH

THE FOUNDATION OPERATES FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES BY ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE. WE WERE ABLE TO HOST FOUR IN-PERSON CONFERENCES THIS YEAR THAT ADDRESSED CRITICAL AND TIMELY TOPICS FOR EMERGECY ADDRESED CRITICAL AND TIMELY TOPICS FOR EMERGENCY CARE PROVIDERS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. FEMF COMPLETED ITS MATCHING GRANT AWARDED BY THE FL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WITH A TOTAL BUDGET OF $140,432. THE PURPOSE OF THE GRANT IS TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND EMS MEETINGS AND MARKETING OUTREACH BY ASSISTING WITH PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT COSTS. ACCREDITED CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES WRE OFFERED VIA WEBINARS, IN-PERSON CONFERENCES AND ONLINE THROUGH OUR LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. FEMF PROVIDES CONTINUING EDUCATION TO MORE THAN 5,000 OF THE NATIONS' EMERGENCY CARE PROVIDERS.
