FFTA AS A PIONEER OF THE INBOUND TRADE MISSIONS PROGRAM ESTABLISHED THE PROGRAM "TRADE-USA" WHICH PROMOTES AMERICAN PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES TO FOREIGN BUYERS AND US LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT SELL THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. THE PROGRAM PROMOTES BILATERAL INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND INVESTMENTS BY WORKING TOGETHER WITH ENTERPRISE FLORIDA, AMERICAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES SUCH AS PORTS, AIRPORTS, COUNTIES, CITIES, AND PRIVATE PARTNERS GENERATING REVENUE FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA BY FACILITATING BUSINESS MATCHMAKING BUSINESS MEETINGS BETWEEN LOCAL AND FOREIGN COMPANIES DURING TRADE MISSIONS. IN Y2022, FFTA WAS ABLE TO ORGANIZE AN INBOUND TRADE MISSION FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC INCLUDING ONE-ON-ONE BUSINESS MEETINGS PRESENTATIONS, AND TOURS TO 3 SOUTH FLORIDA PORTS: MIAMI, PORT EVERGLADES, AND PALM BEACH. SHIPPING LINES, INCLUDING SEABOARD MARINE, CROWLEY, AND TROPICAL SHIPPING, IN ADDITION, FFTA PARTICIPATED IN A TRADE SHOW, EXPOLOGISTICA IN GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR, AND PROVIDE PRESENTATIONS AT SEVERAL UNIVERSITIES. FFTA HAS CONTINUED PROVIDING TRAINING PROGRAMS AND OFFERING SCHOLARSHIP CERTIFICATES FROM GROW WITH GOOGLE TO BENEFIT MINORITY INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZE COMPANIES.
