SCOAR'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER INNOVATIVE AND BREAKTHROUGH THINKING ON ISSUES RELATED TO INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION TO IMPROVE ITS MEMBERS BUSINESS PERFORMANCE. SCOAR PROVIDES SOUTHEASTERN STATES CONSTRUCTION USERS AND ASSOCIATES A FORUM FOR EFFECTIVE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION, VIEWS AND PRACTICES TO HELP MEMBERS IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESS OPERATIONS. THESE IMPROVEMENTS RESULT IN INCREASED PROJECT COST EFFECTIVENESS, CONSTRUCTION PLANNING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT.

Part 3 - Line 4a
SCOAR CONDUCTS THREE PROGRAM MEETINGS PER YEAR WITH INDUSTRY SPEAKERS/SPECIALISTS PROVIDING INNOVATIVE VIEWS AND INFORMATION. THE EVENTS INCLUDE GOLF AND FISHING EVENTS, NETWORKING ACTIVITIES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES TO RAISE MONEY FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS IN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND ENGINEERING.
SCOAR FUNDS TECHNICAL SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS AND TRAINING GRANTS. SCOAR ALSO PROVIDES WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO INCREASE ITS MEMBER KNOWLEDGE IN THE INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION ARENA.
