MAGNOLIA (GA) CHAPTER OF THE LINKS, INCORPORATED SERVES THE ATLANTA METROPOLITAN AREA AS WELL AS INTERNATIONALLY BY PROVIDING IMPACTFUL PROGRAMS THAT RESULT IN TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE. THE CHAPTERS PROGRAMMING FOCUSES ON 5 THEMES: NATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES. SERVICES TO YOUTH, INTERNATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES, THE ARTS, AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES.

THE CHAPTER HAS LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH SEVERAL SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE-AGED STUDENTS AND FAMILIES FROM ECONOMICALLY-DISADVANTAGED HOUSEHOLDS. CHAPTER MEMBERS CONDUCT WORKSHOPS, MENTOR STUDENTS, FACILITATE ARTS ACTIVITIES, AND ENGAGE ON TOPICS SUCH AS: PRESENTATION AND INTERVIEW SKILLS, SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE, DRESSING FOR SUCCESS, MANNERS, HYGIENE, MANAGING FINANCES, AND MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELLNESS. MAGNOLIA (GA) CHAPTER ALSO PROUDLY PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR NEEDS FOR COLLEGE.MAGNOLIA (GA) CHAPTER REACHES INTERNATIONALLY THROUGH ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS GUINEA WEST AFRICA MISSION,BOHAMAS SCHOLARSHIP INTERNATIONALLY LIVING, AND HEALTHY HOMESTEAD. OTHER PROGRAMS SUPPORTED INCLUDE HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS, WALK FOR HEALTHY LIVING, LINKS IN PINK (BREAST CANCER AWARENESS), CHAPTER FUNDED MAMMOGRAMS FOR WOMEN, LINKAGES FOR LIFE (ORGAN, TISSUE AND BONE MARROW DONATION EDUCATION), HEARTLINKS AND REDSTRAVAGANZA (HEART DISEASE AWARENESS), CHILDRENS HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA, AND A BLACK FAMILY HEALTH FAIR.
