PROVIDE FACILITIES AND SUPPORT FOR THE LONE OAK FREE HEALTH AND DENTAL CLINICS (1100+ PATIENTS SEEN IN CLINICS & CLASSES)


PROVIDE FACILITIES AND SUPPORT FOR THE LONE OAK SENIORS (40 ESTIMATED PEOPLE)


THE LONE OAK FREE LIBRARY IS A FREE RESOURCE FOR LONE OAK'S 1500 RESIDENTS AS WELL AS RESIDENTS IN NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES. THE LIBRARY CONTAINS HUNDREDS OF FICTION AND NON-FICTION BOOKS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN TO BORROW.IT IS SUPPORTED ENTIRELY THROUGH DONATIONS AND BOOK SALES. THE LIBRARY PROVIDES INTERNET ACCESS UPON REQUEST. FREE BOOKS AND MAGAZINES ARE OFFERED IN THE CENTER'S HALLWAY. IN ADDITION TO LIBRARY PATRONS, MANY HEALTH CLINIC PATIENTS ENJOY THIS RESOURCE.


FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAM WAS INITIATED IN 2017 TO TRAIN FIRST RESPONDERS FOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS, EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, ETC.
