THE BUCKHEAD COALITION'S MISSION IS TO ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE COMMUNITY WITHIN THE CITY OF ATLANTA AND METROPOLITAN REGION; TO SUPPORT THE WELL-BEING OF BUCKHEAD'S RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES AND VISITORS; TO CONVENE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR LEADERS AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS; AND TO CONNECT BUCKHEAD TO OTHER AREAS OF THE CITY AND REGION.

THE BUCKHEAD COALITION HAS SIGNIFICANTLY ADVANCED ITS MISSION TO ADVOCATE, SUPPORT, CONVENE, AND CONNECT WITHIN THE BUCKHEAD COMMUNITY. IN THE PAST YEAR, THE COALITION HAS SUCCESSFULLY SPEARHEADED NUMEROUS INITIATIVES THAT FOSTERED ECONOMIC GROWTH, ENHANCED PUBLIC SAFETY, AND PROMOTED COMMUNITY WELL-BEING. BY HOSTING FORUMS AND ROUNDTABLES, THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED INVALUABLE PLATFORMS FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES, RESIDENTS, AND STAKEHOLDERS TO COLLABORATE AND ADDRESS KEY ISSUES. IN DOING SO THE COALITION PLAYED A PIVOTAL ROLE IN SECURING APPROVAL FOR COMMUNITY PROJECTS, AND PUBLIC SERVICES. SOME OF THOSE PROJECTS, OUTREACH, AND FUNDING SUPPORT INCLUDED: BUCKHEAD COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM; BUCKHEAD YOUTH INTERNSHIP; ATLANTA PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER PROGRAM; BUCKHEAD SAFETY ALLIANCE; PINEY GROVE CEMETERY PROTECTION; REPEAT OFFENDERS COMMISSION; HOMELESSNESS PROGRAM; BUCKHEAD MARKETING PARTNERSHIP; MAJOR STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS, PLUS CONSTITUENT REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION, SERVICES, AND INFRASTRUCTURE REPAIRS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY TO NAME A FEW ENDEAVORS.
