TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES BY PROVIDING SERVICES & RESOURCES THAT WILL FACILITATE THE BUILDING OF SELF-ESTEEM & SELF-SUFFICIENCY THROUGH THE ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF THE TOTAL COMMUNITY.

RESIDENTIAL ENERGY ASSISTANCE - LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LIHEAP) - LIHEAP PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS TO HELP PAY THE COST OF HOME ENERGY BILLS AND OTHER ENERGY RELATED SERVICES. BENEFITS VARY DEPENDING ON THE INTENSITY LEVEL AND ARE BASED ON A RATING TOOL. THE ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED ARE GIVEN PRIORITY FOR SERVICES. OTHER LOW INCOME CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN CASE MANAGEMENT TO HELP IMPROVE THEIR LIVES SO THEY WON'T NEED THESE SERVICES FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR LIFETIME. STAFF WILL ASSIST CLIENTS WITH NETWORKING WITH OTHER RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS.


HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START IS OUR EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES HIGH-QUALITY CARE AND SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. ON SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2020, WE OPENED THE DOORS TO A NEW VISION FOR WHAT IT MEANS TO EMPOWER FAMILIES TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR GOALS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES CARE AND EDUCATION TO CHILDREN SIX WEEKS OF AGE TO FOUR YEARS OF AGE. WE PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN, HELP FAMILIES KEEP UP WITH WELL CHILD HEALTH CHECKS, AND WE PROVIDE SUPPORT TO FAMILIES IN A VARIETY OF AREAS SUCH AS PARENTING, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, AND MORE.


COMMUNITY SERVICES - COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) PROGRAM - THE PROGRAM AIMS TO COMBAT POVERTY ON A COMMUNITY LEVEL BY REMOVING THE BARRIERS OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY CLIENTS MAY ENCOUNTER. THE CSBG PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS IN AREAS SUCH AS EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, NUTRITION, HOUSING, HEALTH SERVICES, AND INCOME ASSISTANCE.
