LOCAL GAMES PROGRAM: NORTH CAROLINA HAS THE LARGEST NETWORK OF LOCAL SENIOR GAMERS IN THE NATION. A YEAR ROUND PROGRAM OF SPORTS, ARTS, WORKSHOPS, CLINICS, AND WELLNESS EVENTS IS OFFERED. MANY OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN THESE PROGRAMS COMPETED TO QUALIFY FOR THE ANNUAL STATE FINALS HELD EACH FALL. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR STATEWIDE STAFF ARE OFFERED, AS ARE NEWSLETTERS, PUBLICATIONS, A STATEWIDE WALKING PROGRAM (SILVERSTRIDERS), A STATEWIDE DANCE PROGRAM (SILVERLINERS), AND AN EXCELLENT WEBSITE. OVER 20 STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS AND AGENCIES ENDORSE AND HELP COORDINATE THIS LARGE AWARD-WINNING PROGRAM.
STATE FINALS: THE STATE FINALS IS A MULTI-DAY EVENT CONDUCTED IN VARIOUS CITIES WITHIN THE STATE AND SHOWCASES THE BEST SENIOR TALENT IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.
