PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN THE MIDDLE GEORGIA AREA. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF A NEWSLETTER, THE PROMOTION OF LOCAL EVENTS, AND GROUP TOURS OF THE AREA'S ATTRACTIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ORGANIZES CONVENTIONS TO BE HELD IN MIDDLE GEORGIA. ALL THE CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES IN THE MIDDLE GA AREA, AS WELL AS AREA TOURISTS, BENEFIT FROM THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES.
