BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF GREATER COLUMBIA (BBBSGC) RECRUITS VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE AS MENTORS TO YOUTH AGES 6-18. IN 2018, BBBSGC SERVED AN ESTIMATED 110 CHILDREN THROUGH 1-1 MENTORING. BBBSGC WAS ALSO ABLE TO INCREASE SUPPORT OF THE ORGANIZATION BY ADDING6 NEW BOARD MEMBERS. THE CHILDREN SERVED EXPERIENCED INCREASES IN GRADES, SCHOLASTIC COMPETENCY, SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE & SCHOOL ATTENDANCE.
