ADVOCACY - AIA SOUTH CAROLINA ADVOCATES FOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE AND EQUITABLE COMMUNITIES THROUGH ITS WORK PROMOTING FAIR STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS REGARDING THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT; ENGAGING LEGISLATORS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS ON THE IMPORTANCE AND BENEFITS OF RESILIENT, SAFE, AND HIGH PERFORMANCE DESIGN; AND SERVING AS AN EXPERT ADVISORY RESOURCE TO STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND COMMISSIONS.


KNOWLEDGE - AIA SOUTH CAROLINA PROVIDES RESOURCES TO ITS MEMBERSHIP TO ADVANCE THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE, THE ARCHITECTURE + HEALTH CHAUTAUQUA, VIRTUAL BUILDING TOURS, AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (SAP) DISASTER ASSISTANCE TRAINING WORKSHOPS.
