NONRESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS:FAMILY AND THERAPEUTIC FOSTER CARE PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN IN THE CUSTODY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES REQUIRING LONG TERM FOSTER CARE PLACEMENT. APPROXIMATELY 45 CHILDREN PARTICIPATE IN THE NONRESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS EACH YEAR.
RESIDENTIAL EMERGENCY SHELTER:THE EMERGENCY SHELTER IS FOR CHILDREN AGES 7 TO 17 WHO NEED TIME AND A SAFE PLACE TO STAY AND WORK THROUGH THEIR PROBLEMS. APPROXIMATELY 60 CHILDREN UTILIZE THE EMERGENCY SHELTER ANNUALLY. THE EMERGENCY SHELTER WAS CLOSED IN MAY 2022 DUE TO DIFFICULTIES FINDING STAFF.
