EWA IS AN FCC CERTIFIED FREQUENCY ADVISORY COMMITTEE THAT ASSISTS BUSINESS ENTERPRISES AND OTHER ENTITIES TO SECURE AUTHORITY FROM THE FCC TO USE RADIO SPECTRUM FOR USE WITHIN PRIVATE INTERNAL AND PRIVATE CARRIER WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS. EWA ALSO SERVES AS A NATIONAL ADVOCATE FOR ITS MEMBERS ON SPECTRUM ALLOCATION AND REGULATORY POLICY MATTERS AT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LEVEL. EWA PROVIDES A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL AND RELATED SERVICES THAT SUPPORT THESE ACTIVITIES.


THROUGH THE PRIVATE WIRELESS EDUCATION COUNCIL, EWA WILL PROVIDE GREATER ACCESS TO TRAINING PROGRAMS IN PLACE TODAY AND OFFER ADDITIONAL COURSES THAT EXPAND ITS MEMBERS' KNOWLEDGE BASE, SUCH AS LICENSING AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION, SYSTEM PLANING, SPECTRUM ACQUISITION, SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, AND RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE MITIGATION.
