THE HOWARD COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY(HCHS) IS THE PRIMARY PRIVATE REPOSITORY OF HISTORICAL RECORDS AND ARTIFACTS RELATED TO THE COUNTY'S RICH HISTORY. HCHS PROVIDES ACCESS TO MATERIAL THAT AID IN HISTORICAL RESEARCH, EXPLORATION, AND DISCOVERY FOR ALL AGES AND CULTURAL GROUPS. ARTIFACTS DISPLAYED OR STORED IN THE MUSEUM OF HOWARD COUNTY HISTORY ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR LOAN TO OTHER MUSEUMS, GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, AND PUBLIC EXHIBITS, AS ARE DOCUMENTS, PHOTOGRAPHS, AND PUBLICATIONS RESIDING IN THE ARCHIVES.
