CONFERENCE AND EVENTS- SEGD OFFERS A ROBUST CALENDAR OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PHYSICAL EVENTS, AN ACADEMIC SUMMIT AND CONFERENCE, LOCAL CHAPTER EVENTS. SEGD'S CONFERENCE IS THE GATHERING OF THE FULL BREADTH OF THE EXPERIENTIAL GRAPHIC DESIGN COMMUNITY. IT IS THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL EVENT FOCUSED ON CREATING EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE AND PLACE IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT. THIS EVENT IS WHERE MULTIPLE DESIGN DISCIPLINES CONVERGE AND DESIGN PROFESSIONALS, VENDORS AND FABRICATORS WHO CREATE COMPELLING AND INFORMATION-RICH SPACES GO FOR INSPIRATION, EDUCATION AND NETWORKING.
OTHER PROGRAMS- SEGD PROVIDES DEAI AND ANTI-RACISM TRAINING TO ADVANCE RACIAL JUSTICE WITH OUR ORGANIZATION AND THE FIELD OF EXPERIENTIAL GRAPHIC DESIGN. STAFF, BOARD, EDUCATORS AND CHAPTER CHAIRS ARE A PART OF A MULTI- PHASE ENGAGEMENT PLAN TO BUILD AN INCLUSIVE CULTURE ACROSS LINES OF DIFFERENCE.
EDUCATION AND WORKSHOPS- SEGD'S EDUCATION WORKSHOPS, WEBINARS, AND COURSES SPAN A WIDE SWATH OF DESIGN PRACTICE AREAS INCLUDING BRANDED ENVIRONMENTS, EXHIBITION AND EXPERIENCE DESIGN, TECHNOLOGY AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES, USER EXPERIENCE, HEALTHCARE, PRACTICE AND TECHNICAL TOPICS, WAYFINDING, ACCESSIBILITY, AND THE BUSINESS OF DESIGN.
MEMBERSHIP- CONSISTS OF A GLOBAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY OF OVER 2,300 MEMBERS FROM 35 COUNTRIES WHO PLAN, DESIGN, AND BUILD EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE TO PLACE.
