HORTICULTURAL THERAPY GROUP PROGRAMS: TALMAR PROVIDES ENGAGING GROUP PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS MEET THEIR INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENTAL AND THERAPEUTIC GOALS. MOST PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE ON TALMAR'S CAMPUS WHICH INCLUDES A VEGETABLE AND CUT FLOWER FARM, HOOP HOUSES, WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE GREENHOUSE AND HEN HOUSE.
AGRICULTURAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM WITH INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SUPPORTS FOR VETERANS: TALMAR PROVIDES A HYBRID VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE VA MARYLAND HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. THE VA PROVIDES ONGOING THERAPEUTIC SUPPORTS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS.
