RESEARCH:CCHR DC IS A MENTAL HEALTH WATCHDOG THAT CONDUCTS RESEARCH INTO AREAS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES IN THE MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM, INCLUDING THE USE OF ELECTROCONVULSIVE THERAPY (ECT) AND RACISM IN THE MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM.
INFORMATIONAL CLEARINGHOUSE & HOTLINE: CCHR DC PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT THE MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY AND PROMOTES THE CCHR INT WEBSITE'S DATABASES. CCHR DC HAS A HOTLINE FOR ABUSE CASES TO GET ASSISTANCE WITH HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS.
PUBLIC EDUCATION & ADVOCACY, INCLUDING LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES:CCHR DC INVESTIGATES ABUSES AND ASSISTS THOSE ABUSED. CCHR DC MONITORS FEDERAL AND STATE LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS.
