THE IRAQ FOUNDATION WORKS FOR DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN IRAQ AND FOR IMPROVING THE LIVES OF IRAQIS. THE FOUNDATION WORKS LARGELY WITH IRAQI NGO'S AND COOPERATE WITH RELEVANT GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS. TO ACHIVE OUR GOALS WE UTILIZE A VARIETY OF TOOLS SUCH AS TRAINING WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES, PUBLICATION AND RADIO AND TV PROGRAMS. WE AIM TO BE INCLUSIVE IN ALL REGIONS OF IRAQ.

BUILDING RESILIENCE OF YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES: THIS IS A TWO-YEAR PROJECT FUNDED BY THE NETHERLANDS MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS. THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT IS TO BUILD CAPACITY IN IRAQ TO WORK TO PREVENT VIOLENT EXTREMISM AND RADICALIZATION OF YOUTH AND DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS AND INSTEAD, PROVIDE THESE GROUPS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.


STRENGTHEN WOMEN'S POLITICAL PARTICIPATION: THIS IS AN EIGHTEEN-MONTH PROJECT FUNDED BY THE UNITED NATIONS ASSISTANCE MISSION (UNAMI). THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT IS TO CARRY OUT A TWO-PHASE PROJECT AIMING TO STRENGTHEN WOMEN'S PARTICIPATION IN POLITICAL LIFE AT THE NATIONAL AND SUB-NATIONAL LEVELS, AND ENHANCE THE CAPABILITIES OF WOMEN IN SEEKING PUBLIC OFFICE.
