SCHOOL & COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS: BROAD-BASED PARTICIPATORY PROGRAMS LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR LIFELONG LEARNING AND ECONOMIC PRODUCTIVITY BY ENGAGING STUDENTS IN EDUCATION AND ACTION FOR NUTRITION, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND VOCATIONAL PATHWAYS, AND BY EQUIPPING MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WITH THE SKILLS AND RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND ACHIEVE SELF-RELIANCE. PROGRAMS ADDRESSING SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, AQUAPONICS, NUTRITION AND FOOD SECURITY, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, NEGLECTED TROPICAL DISEASE (NATIONAL-SCALE DEWORMING), AND A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE DIRECTLY INVOLVED MORE THAN 7.2 MILLION INDIVIDUALS IN 2021.
