AS THE LEADING NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE LGBTQ+ FAMILIES, WE WORK TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE HAS THE FREEDOM TO FIND, FORM, AND SUSTAIN THEIR FAMILIES BY ADVANCING LGBTQ+ EQUALITY THROUGH ADVOCACY, SUPPORT, STORYTELLING, AND EDUCATION.

IN 2022, FAMILY EQUALITY PROGRAM FOCUS AREAS INCLUDE LGBTQ+ SPECIFIC:VIRTUAL SUPPORT PROGRAMMING WITH THE EVOLUTION OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND VIRTUAL NETWORKS, LGBTQ+ FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS HAVE BECOME A VEHICLE FOR DISSEMINATING IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO LGBTQ+ PARENTS AND PROSPECTIVE PARENTS. FAMILY EQUALITY PROVIDES MULTIPLE ONGOING FACILITATED PEER SUPPORT GROUPS FOR LGBTQ+ INDIVIDUALS AND PARENTS OF VARIOUS IDENTITIES. WE OFFER ADVOCACY AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF VIRTUAL WEBINARS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS REGULARLY ON TOPICS OF IMPORTANCE TO OUR COMMUNITIES.
