QUEST FOR PEACE - DUE TO THE POLITICAL SITUATION IN NICARAGUA, QUIXOTE CENTER'S PARTNER ORGANIZATION IN NICARAGUA SPENT MUCH OF FY 22 WORKING TO PREVENT CLOSURE, WHICH FINALLY HAPPENED IN MAY 2022. FOR THIS REASON QUIXOTE CENTER HAS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED OPERATIONS WITHIN NICARAGUA. QUIXOTE CENTER CONTINUES TO PROVIDE EDUCATION ABOUT THE SITUATION INSIDE NICARAGUA, AND THE SITUATION FACED BY NICARAGUAN MIGRANTS, TO OUR NETWORK OF SUPPORTERS.


HAITI REBORN - PROVIDED GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT FOR AGRO-FORESTRY INITIATIVES IN GROS MORNE, ARTIBONITE, HAITI AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. INITIATIVES INCLUDE: SUPPORT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL TRAINING AND RESOURCE CENTER, REFORESTATION, A SEED BANK, AND VETERINARY CARE. PROVIDED EMERGENCY DISASTER RELIEF IN THE SOUTH. PROVIDE EDUCATION ABOUT THE SITUATION INSIDE HAITI, AND THE SITUATION FACED BY HAITIAN MIGRANTS, TO OUR NETWORK OF SUPPORTERS.

TRANSLATED AND SHARED NEWS ITEMS AND STATEMENTS FROM INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS.
