IS THE ONLY TRADE ASSOCIATION THAT EXCLUSIVELY REPRESENTS THE INTERESTS OF THE ASPHALT PRODUCER AND PAVING CONTRACTOR ON THE NATIONAL LEVEL WITH CONGRESS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND OTHER NATIONAL TRADE AND BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS.NATIONAL ASPHALT PAVEMENT ASSOCIATION, INC. SUPPORTS AN ACTIVE RESEARCHPROGRAM DESIGNED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND TOIMPROVE THE QUALITY OF HMA PAVEMENTS AND PAVING TECHNIQUES USED IN THECONSTRUCTION OF ROADS, STREETS, HIGHWAYS, PARKING LOTS, AIRPORTS, ANDENVIRONMENTAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDESTECHNICAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND MARKETING MATERIALS AND INFORMATION TO ITSMEMBERS, AND SUPPLIES TECHNICAL INFORMATION TO USERS AND SPECIFIERS OFPAVING MATERIALS.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO RAISE, MANAGE AND DISBURSE FUNDS TO CONDUCT AND IMPLEMENT RESEARCH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND SKILLS IN TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT AREAS RELATED TO ASPHALT DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION.
