ADVOCACY - CAPSES ASSISTED ITS MEMBERS IN MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOOL NUTRITION/UNIVERSAL MEALS, ACCESSING CALIFORNIA GRANTS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER CREDENTIALS AND SUPORT STAFF, PROVIDING COMPENSATORY SERVICES TO PUPILS WITH DISABILITIES IN CAPSES SCHOOLS AND AGENCIES POST COVID, AND INFORMING CALIFORNIA POLICY MAKERS ON THE IMPORTANT ROLE THAT CAPSES MEMBERS PROVIDE TO STATE AND LOCAL POLICY MAKERS.


EDUCATION - PROVIDED ESSENTIAL APPLICATION INFORMATION TO CAPSES MEMBER SCHOOLS REGARDING EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE FEDERAL BUDGET. INFORMED CAPSES MEMBERS OF STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATORY AND STATUTORY CHANGES IN PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS, BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION TRAINING, AND SCHOOL SAFETY.
