WITH A PROGRAM LASTING TWO YEARS, THE RENOVARE INSTITUTE FOR CHRISTIAN SPIRITUAL FORMATION (RENOVARE INSTITUTE) PROVIDES AN IN DEPTH INTERACTION WITH CORE ORGANIZATIONAL IDEAS. IN FY 2022-23, THE PHOENIX COHORT COMPLETED THEIR SECOND YEAR OF THE PROGRAM WITH RETREATS IN NOVEMBER 2022 AND JUNE 2023 WITH 46 STUDENTS. THE ATLANTA COHORT COMPLETED YEAR ONE WITH RETREATS IN SEPTEMBER 2022 AND MARCH 2023 WITH 42 STUDENTS.
IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO DEVELOP A DEEPER, MORE MEANINGFUL CHRISTIAN LIFE, PRINTED LITERATURE SUCH AS SEASONAL DEVOTIONALS CONTINUE TO BE OFFERED. NOTE: REVENUE BELOW IS SHOWN AS LESS COST OF SALES.
CONFERENCES AND RETREATS ARE PLANNED AND FACILITATED TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO PRACTICE A MEANINGFUL SPIRITUAL LIFE. THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE BURNING HEART RESUMED RETREATS. IN SEPTEMBER 2022 PARTICIPANTS GATHERED IN COLORADO AND IN FEBRUARY 2023 IN NORTH CAROLINA, TO CONTINUE LISTENING GROUPS (WHICH GREW FROM 14 TO 36). IN ADDITION TO THESE RETREATS, FACILITATORS ALSO MET TO BE TRAINED IN LEADING GROUPS. IN APRIL 2023 THE SECOND PASTOR'S RETREAT, "FIRST LOVE", WAS HELD FOR 45 PASTORS. IN JUNE 2023, RENOVARE HELD A NATIONAL EVENT, "REGATHERING", WITH OVER 300 PEOPLE.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION EDUCATION IS A CORE OF RENOVARE'S MINISTRY AND HAS BEEN AN EMPHASIS FOR FY 2022-23. THIS GENERAL EDUCATION OCCURS THROUGH VARIOUS PLATFORMS: SUCH AS PODCASTS VIA THE WEBSITE (RENOVARE.ORG), THE ONLINE RENOVARE BOOK CLUB WITH ALMOST 1,800 PARTICIPANTS, NEW ONLINE COURSES, AND VARIOUS SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS. RENOVARE HAS CONTINUED WEBINARS THAT WERE CREATED IN RESPONSE TO LIMITED IN PERSON GATHERINGS. WEBINARS ARE EVERY TWO MONTHS, WITH AN AVERAGE WEBINAR HAVING OVER 1,000 REGISTRATIONS. RENOVARE HAS ALSO PARTNERED WITH FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY (FH) TO PROVIDE ONLINE SPIRITUAL FORMATION EDUCATION FOR USE BY FH LEADERS AND WORKERS IN VARIOUS AREAS OF THE WORLD. RENOVARE SAW ALMOST 5,000 PEOPLE REGISTER FOR THEIR "FROM THE INSIDE OUT" ONLINE COURSE, PODCAST EPISODES WERE DOWNLOADED OVER 370,000 TIMES AND OVER 30,000 PEOPLE NOW RECEIVE "RENOVARE WEEKLY" EACH FRIDAY.
