THE MISSION OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BAR FOUNDATION IS TO PROMOTE, ON BEHALF OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION, GOOD WORKS WHICH ADVANCE THE LOCAL SYSTEM OF JUSTICE AS WELL AS SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILY RELATED CHARITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS.

LAWYERS HELPING THE COMMUNITY BY PROMOTING, ON BEHALF OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION, ACTIVITIES WHICH ADVANCE OUR LOCAL SYSTEM OF JUSTICE, OR SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILY RELATED CHARITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. IN SUPPORT OF THIS MISSION, THE FOUNDATION ORGANIZES FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FROM ITS MEMBERS AND IN TURN MAKES GRANTS THAT ADVANCE THE FOUNDATIONS MISSION. IN 2021, THE FOUNDATION MADE GRANTS TO KANSAS CHILDRENS SERVICE LEAGUE, JOHNSON COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION, KANSAS LEGAL SERVICE, KIDS TLC, SUNFLOWER HOUSE, GROWING FUTURES, FRIENDS OF JCDS, WONDERSCOPE CHILDRENS MUSEUM, FOX4 LOVE FUND, AND KC HOSPICE AND PALLATIVE CARE.
