MICROSANCTUARY RESOURCE CENTER HAD A VERY BUSY AND SUCCESSFUL FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022. OUR MICROGRANT PROGRAM CONTINUED TO BE VERY ACTIVE, AND WE PROVIDED A TOTAL OF 90 MICROGRANTS FOR A TOTAL OF $67,100. WE ALSO EXPANDED OUR GRANT PROGRAM TO SUPPORT LOSSES FROM CLIMATE DISASTERS AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE. WE PARTNERED WITH CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP NEW SUPPORT RESOURCES FOR ANIMAL SANCTUARIES. MRC ALSO PROVIDED GUIDANCE TO ANIMAL RESCUERS WITH EMERGENCY CARE FOR ANIMALS IN URGENT NEED OF VETERINARY CARE. WE ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT TO ANOTHER CHARITABLE SANCTUARY FOR THE CREATION OF THEIR OWN SMALLER MICROGRANT PROGRAM.
MICROSANCTUARY RESOURCE CENTER (MRC) HAD A SUCCESSFUL FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023, CONTINUING TO LEAD IN SANCTUARY SUPPORT. OUR MICROGRANT PROGRAM CONTINUED TO BE VERY ACTIVE, AND WE PROVIDED OVER 100 MICROGRANTS SUPPORTING SPECIAL PROJECTS AND ANIMAL CARE, FOR A TOTAL OF MORE THAN $124,000. WE PARTNERED WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND SANCTUARIES TO DEVELOP NEW EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOCUSED ON RESCUE AND CARE. ADDITIONALLY, MRC CO-SPONSORED THE HUMANE HOAX ONLINE CONFERENCE.
