THE COOPER WARREN PEDIATRIC PALLIATIVE CARE FOUNDATION WILL PROVIDE ANDSUPPORT PALLIATIVE CARE FOR PEDIATRIC PATIENTS. THIS WILL BE DONE BY PROVIDING FUNDING TO INDIVIDUALS AND ENTITIES RECEIVING OR PROVIDING PALLIATIVE CARE TO PEDIATRIC PATIENTS IN HOUSTON, TEXAS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS. THESE ENTITIES MAY INCLUDE HOSPITALS, HOSPICE PROVIDERS, AND ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION PROVIDING PALLIATIVE CARE TO PEDIATRIC PATIENTS. THE FOUNDATION MAY PROVIDE SUPPORT IN THE WAY OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND RESEARCH. WE MAY ALSO MAKE DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3). WE MAY ALSO PROVIDE MONETARY SUPPORT OR FINANCIALASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN RECEIVING PALLIATIVE CARE.
