IN 2021, BLUE RIVER HORSE CENTER HOSTED 177 CLASSES WITH A TOTAL OF 1,357 PARTICIPANTS, SERVING: CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS AGES 5 - 22, SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN, AND ADULT VOLUNTEERS AND PARTICIPANTS. OTHER ACTIVITIES AND COLLABORATIONS INCLUDED: 1) 23 ANIMAL COMMUNICATION CLASSES WITH THE PUBLIC, 2) 10 VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT TRAINING AND ORIENTATION CLASSES FOR THE SUMMIT COUNTY COMMUNITY, 3) TWO SERVICE LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP CLASSES WITH SOS OUTREACH 4) ONE LEADERSHIP AWARENESS WITH HORSES DAY CAMP WITH SC MOUNTAIN MENTORS AND THE FAMILY & INTERCULTURAL RESOURCE CENTER, AND 5) 138 ADVANCED LEADERSHIP WITH HORSES CLASSES WITH SUMMIT COUNTY ADULTS AND CHILDREN.
