THE PROGRAM PROMOTES IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS GARDENING, COOKING WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS AND MORE QUALITY FAMILY TIME.DURING 2022, VLADA'S SEEDS OF LIFE SUCCESSFULLY SECURED OVER $440,000.00 WORTH OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SEEDS. THIS ENABLED EXPANSION OF THE LITTLE SPROUT PROGRAM, FROM RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY TO LOS ANGELES COUNTY, NEW YOURK AND ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. OVER $120,000 WORTH OF FREE VEGETABLE AND FRUIT SEEDS WERE DONATED VIA 250+ PUBLIC LIBRARIES, ADDRESSING NEEDS FOR FRESHLY GROWN FOOD IN AREAS KNOWN AS FOOD DESERT AREAS SUCH AS SOUTH LOS ANGELES AND NEW YORK. ADDITIONAL SEEDS WERE DISTRIBUTED VIA SAN DIEGO MASTER GARDENER ASSOCIATION AND OTHER VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
