JUVENILE ARTHRITIS IS A LIFELONG DISEASE THAT DESTROYS JOINTS, BONES, AND MUSCLES, MAKING EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES OR EVEN JUST MOVING - DIFFICULT, ROBBING CHILDREN OF THE JOY OF JUST BEING KIDS. CAMP CAMBRIA HELPS CHANGE LIVES, NOT JUST FOR A WEEK, BUT FOREVER BY HELPING KIDS: - FIND A PLACE THEY BELONG, TOGETHER WITH OTHER KIDS WHO UNDERSTAND THE STRUGGLES AND JOURNEY THAT COMES WITH JUVENILE ARTHRITIS- LEARN ESSENTIAL COPING AND STRESS MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES- GAIN INDEPENDENCE BY MASTERING SKILLS SUCH AS HOW TO ADMINISTER THEIR OWN MEDICINES- TAKE PART IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, LIKE SWIMMING AND ARCHERY, AT THEIR OWN PACE- CREATE FRIENDSHIPS AND BUILD CONFIDENCE THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME- MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN AND JUST BE KIDS.
