OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR TEACHING AND INSPIRING STUDENTS THROUGH MENTOR-BASED SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS THAT ENGAGE STUDENTS TECHNICALLY THROUGH INSTRUCTION AND REAL-WORLD ENGINEERING CHALLENGES, AND SOCIALLY THROUGH TEAMWORK, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND LEADERSHIP.

ACCOMPLISHMENT: OPERATION OF A DONATED FACILITY FOR ALL IN-HOUSE ROBOTICS TEAMS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING THE OPERATION OF MACHINE SHOP, CLASSROOM SPACES, COMPUTER LAB, COMMON TOOLS, STORAGE UNITS AND TRAVEL TRAILER. USE OF FACILITY DONATED BY FIFTH WEST INVESTMENTS WITH GEAR ALLIANCE PAYING NNN EXPENSES AND A MINIMAL RENT. REVENUE FROM DONATED FACILITY ($32,270 NOT INCLUDED IN REVENUE). REVENUE FROM VENDING SALES $573. GRANT FROM ST. VRAIN VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT ($20,000).


ACCOMPLISHMENT: OPERATION OF COMPETITIVE ROBOTICS TEAMS FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN COMPETING IN FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITIONS. THE GEAR ALLIANCE SUPPORTS ON HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL TEAM (FRC) (~80 STUDENTS), ONE MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL TEAM (FTC) (~15 STUDENTS) AND FIVE ELEMENTARY LEVEL (FLL)TEAMS (~ 35 STUDENTS). REVENUE FROM DUES, COLLECTED TRAVEL FEES, GEAR SALES AND TEAM MEAL FEE COLLECTIONS.


ACCOMPLISHMENT: OPERATION OF STEM SUMMER CAMPS AND DROP-IN PROGRAMMING FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN. TYPICALLY CAMPS ARE A WEEK LONG, OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC AND ORGANIZED AND TAUGHT BY OUR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. IN THE SUMMER OF 2020 ALL CAMPS WERE SHUT DOWN DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC
