TO GROW SUPPORT FOR CATS IN OUR COMMUNITY BY (1) FINDING CREATIVE WAYS TO RESCUE, FOSTER, AND FIND PERMANENT HOMES FOR HOMELESS CATS; (2) PROVIDING A COMMUNITY SPACE WHERE CAT LOVERS CAN MEET, MINGLE AND CONNECT; (3) SUPPORTING MANAGEMENT OF LOCAL FERAL CAT COLONIES (COMMUNITY CATS).

(CODE:812910) ADOPTION LOUNGE AND FOSTER NETWORK: IN 2021, RESCUED, FOSTERED, AND ADOPTED APPROXIMATELY 300 CATS AND KITTENS VIA OUR CAT ADOPTION LOUNGE AND OUR FOSTER VOLUNTEER NETWORK. PROVIDED SPAY/NEUTER, OTHER VET CARE, AND MEDICINE WHERE NEEDED. WITH COVID STILL PREVALENT IN THE AREA, LIMITED SMALL GROUP CLASSES WHERE CAT LOVERS COULD MEET AND MINGLE TO 3 FOR THE YEAR. INCLUDED TOPICS SUCH AS ZENTANGLE, MAGIC, AND CREATIVE WRITING. IN SPITE OF COVID, THE ADOPTION LOUNGE REMAINED OPEN TO LIMITED NUMBERS OF VISITORS. THE FOSTER VOLUNTEER NETWORK EXPANDED ITS RESCUE, FOSTER, AND ADOPTION PROCESSES TO COMPENSATE.
