LARA SCHOLARSHIP: WE PARTNER WITH A LOCAL HOCKEY CLINIC AND PURCHASE 4 CLINICS FOR THE PRICE OF 2 THAT WE GIVE OUT TO 4 LOCAL HOCKEY PLAYERS. THE COST OF THESE CLINICS WERE $660. WE COORDINATED A CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT TO HELP PAY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP AND HELD A 50/50 RAFFLE TO FUND OUR ORGANIZATION TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO COLLECT DUES FROM THE MEMBERSHIP. WE COLLECTED WE COLLECTED $315 TOWARDS THIS EFFORT. SCOT ANCTIL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: WE ALSO STARTED A NEW SCHOLARSHIP LAST YEAR AND HANDED OUT 12 $100 GIFTS TO FIRST YEAR OFFICIALS TO OFFSET STARTUP COSTS. TOTAL NUMBER OF PLAYERS/OFFICIALS BENEFITING FOR 2021 WAS 16.
