WAIKALUA LOKO FISHPOND - ACQUIRE AND DEVELOP THE FISHPOND IN ORDER TO PRESERVE THE FISHPOND AND PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND STUDENTS.ON NOVEMBER 17, 2015, THE FEES, DEPOSITS AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS AMOUNTING TO $531,805 WERE TRANSFERRED FROM THE PACIFIC AMERICAN FOUNDATION, A VIRGINIA BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. THE TRANSACTION WAS RECORDED AS A NON CASH CONTRIBUTION. APPROVALS FROM THE PASS-THROUGH ENTITIES OF THE ORIGINAL FUNDING SOURCE (U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT) WERE OBTAINED.
