COLORADO VETERANS SUPPORT, INC. (CVSI) WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO STUDENT VETERANS. CVSI RECOGNIZES THAT A VETERAN IS SOMEONE WHO AT ONE POINT IN THEIR LIFE WROTE A BLANK CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR AN AMOUNT OF UP TO AND INCLUDING THEIR LIFE. WE HAVE FOCUSED OUR SUPPORT OF VETERANS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PUT OFF THEIR EDUCATION TO SERVE OUR NATION AND HAVE NOW RETURNED TO OUR COMMUNITY TO PURSUE UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE DEGREES. CVSI ANNUALLY HOLDS A GOLF FUNDRAISING EVENT CALLED PATRIOTS DAY, TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT VETERANS. DURING 2023, CVSI WAS ABLE TO RAISE AND DONATE $185,000 TO THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO FOUNDATION, A TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION, TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO VETERANS.
